Could artificial intelligence pose a threat to humanity? This is a question raised by Tucker Carlson.

Artificial intelligence is a fascinating topic that often makes for intriguing television segments due to its mysterious and science-fiction-like nature. However, it is also a complex subject that can be misrepresented. While it has the potential to be revolutionary, some may wonder if it could also be dangerous to humans. If so, what measures should we take to address this potential danger?

Elon Musk plans to create 'TruthGPT' amid his concerns about the potential for "civilizational destruction" caused by artificial intelligence (AI).

Given the importance of these questions, it was crucial to find an expert who could provide a definitive answer. Elon Musk was the obvious choice, as he has been contemplating and expressing concerns about AI for most of his life. About a decade ago, he co-founded a nonprofit research project called OpenAI, emphasizing "open." The idea was to make sure that if we do have AI - and it seems likely that we will - it will be accessible to everyone, which would reduce the chances of it being used for nefarious purposes.

However, as time passed and Musk became occupied with running his two massive companies, SpaceX and Tesla, he lost some control over OpenAI.

Currently, OpenAI is no longer "open." It has transitioned from being a nonprofit research project with the mission of utilizing AI to benefit humanity to a commercial entity backed by Microsoft and, to some degree, controlled by the Democratic Party. Elon Musk sees this shift as a concern and views it as a threat to human civilization, perhaps even more alarming than the potential threat of thermonuclear weapons. The following conversation occurred recently between Musk and an interviewer in a Los Angeles hotel room. It is significant enough to air in its entirety tonight and tomorrow.
